Development Job Summary:
The Office Administrator is the liaison between the public and the facility. They are responsible for organizing all clerical aspects of the facility. In addition, the Office Administrator shall work together with the Program Director. This job description does not suggest or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. They will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Education and Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred Three years office experience, preferably in treatment/social service setting. Have some basic knowledge surrounding medical insurance and benefits. Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to: Responsible for maintaining the general daily operation of the treatment center. Responsible for personally taking care of receptionist duties, i.e., telephone answering, call screening, information and referral, scheduling appointments, receiving payments. Assist Admissions team in all admissions duties. Primary typist for administrative correspondence. Responsible for giving on-site tours of the facility. Responsible for distribution and screening of all mail, incoming and outgoing. Supervises maintenance of current information regarding community resources. Assists Program Director in bookkeeping and financial duties when necessary, including arranging patient financial contracts and acting as liaison between patients, the facility, and insurance companies. Assists Program Director in maintaining facility expenditures within the approved budget. Assists Program Director in ensuring facility compliance with all pertinent laws, regulations, and contracts. Assists Program Director in maintaining and updating personnel files, which includes reprimands and separation documentation. Assists in transportation needs for the facility. Assists Program Director with Personnel schedule maintenance.
