Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from the moment they enter our facility. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of medical terminology. The Patient Care Coordinator will work closely with both patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate care and support within our medical office. Responsibilities Greet patients upon arrival and assist with the check-in process. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Handle patient inquiries, providing information about services, procedures, and office policies. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Assist in managing office operations, including filing, data entry, and inventory management. Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for patients. Experience Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using office software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike. Experience providing medical administrative support is a plus. Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
