Benefits vary based on employment type. What You'll Do As a Patient Services Coordinator at CORA, you'll: Greet patients warmly and build rapport through in-person and phone interactions. Screen and answer incoming calls promptly; take messages, and relay information as needed. Verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits (where applicable) and advise patients of financial responsibilities such as co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance. Manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions; communicate first visit expectations to new patients. Scan insurance cards, ID cards, and relevant paperwork into patient files. Collect co-pays and deductibles, provide receipts, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment; sanitize spaces according to CDC guidelines. What You'll Need High school diploma or GED Recent customer service experience required Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Reliable, honest, and adaptable in fast-paced team environments
Preferred:
Experience in a healthcare office, familiarity with basic medical terminology, and fluency in Spanish.
