Job Description

Reporting to the CEO, our Manager of Medical Billing & Coding Services is responsible for full oversight of the billing revenue cycle for Paragon Anesthesia, including credentialing, payer enrollment, claim submission, payment processing, and accounts receivable management. In this position, the Manager will provide strategic leadership and compliance oversight for 15+ employees, while also directly performing billing/coding and revenue cycle functions as needed to ensure accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory requirements in all aspects of patient billing and medical data management. Duties include, but are not limited to: Billing oversight and management
  • Provides oversight of insurance and patient billing, including billing procedures, coding accuracy, data entry, medical record audits, maintenance of patient billing records, claim submission, denial management, accounts receivable follow-up, and compilation of periodic reports. Coder Education and Evaluation
  • Will be the primary resource for providing the coding team with timely updates for compliance and revenue maximization with proper utilization of coding guidelines. This role will be responsible for educating providers on documentation required for compliance and regulations for Anesthesia billing. Payer and provider enrollment
  • Oversight for payer and provider enrollments. Administrative and revenue cycle support
  • Tracks budgets related to billing operations, coordinates revenue cycle functions, manages purchases of billing-related supplies/equipment, and serves as the primary external point of contact for revenue cycle matters.
Will be responsible for ensuring all coders are on a timely and manageable schedule with regards to revenue cycle optimization and steady cash flow.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience A minimum of five years of billing and coding supervisory experience CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification required through AAPC or CSS Certification through AHIMA Full-time in-office position with a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth and development.
