Job Description
Trillium Wellness Center is a new adult residential mental health treatment program located in Seymour, Tennessee. We are building a program where people can feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for while they work toward lasting healing. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Director who wants to help shape the clinical program, team culture, and overall standard of care from the beginning. The Clinical Director will work full time and on-site each day. They will oversee the clinical department and collaborate closely with leadership, psychiatry, nursing, admissions, operations, and the rest of the treatment team. This person will be responsible for ensuring clients receive high-quality, ethical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care. Responsibilities Lead and support therapists, case managers, and other clinical team members Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing the clinical team Provide regular clinical supervision to licensed and associate level clinicians Oversee assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, case management, utilization review, and discharge planning Ensure the clinical team follows Tennessee licensing requirements, accreditation standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies Work closely with psychiatry, nursing, admissions, operations, and experiential staff to provide coordinated care Help create and maintain a positive, supportive, and accountable team culture Review documentation and monitor clinical quality, client outcomes, and areas for improvement Develop and update clinical policies, procedures, programming, and best practices Participate in leadership meetings and help guide the continued growth of the program Support the team during complex cases, crisis situations, and higher acuity clinical concerns Qualifications Master's or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Active Tennessee clinical license in good standing, including LPC MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist Previous experience in clinical leadership, supervision, or program management Strong understanding of adult mental health diagnoses, trauma informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence based treatment Experience with clinical documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance Experience with Joint Commission standards is preferred Experience with electronic medical records is required, and Kipu experience is a plus Residential mental health or behavioral health experience is strongly preferred We are looking for someone who leads with compassion, communicates clearly, and knows how to balance accountability with support.
