Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Healthcare Operations - CDM to lead and oversee the strategic and operational functions across approximately 10 healthcare facilities in Middle Tennessee. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food service management and regulatory compliance, as well as efficient management experience within long-term care, assisted living, home health, and hospice care settings. The ideal candidate will possess a Certified Dietary Manager credential, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and have extensive experience managing diverse clinical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence quality standards and foster a culture of compassionate, compliant, and innovative food service delivery. Duties Lead the development and implementation of operational policies aligned with federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee multiple healthcare facilities' daily operations, ensuring optimal performance in patient care, staff management, and regulatory adherence. Supervise nursing leadership teams, including nurse managers and clinical supervisors, providing mentorship and strategic guidance to enhance team effectiveness. Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, documentation review specialized services to improve resident satisfaction and clinical outcomes. Manage budgets, staffing schedules (shift management), and resource allocation to maintain high standards of care while controlling costs. Facilitate ongoing staff training in medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, HIPAA compliance, and nursing administration best practices. Drive initiatives for regulatory compliance audits, accreditation processes, and continuous quality improvement programs across all facilities. Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence by fostering effective communication among staff members and residents' families. Skills Extensive assisted living experience combined with certified dietary management experience in leadership roles. Proven success managing home health agencies or hospice care operations with a focus on patient-centered care. Strong background in managing food services and dining in a healthcare setting with comprehensive experience in managing multiple sites. Demonstrated supervising experience in managing multidisciplinary teams within long-term care or home health environments. Deep understanding of long-term care regulations, HIPAA compliance standards, and regulatory audits. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple facilities' operations simultaneously while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
