Exempt Essential Functions The Health Sciences Coordinator advances the operational, administrative, and student success initiatives of the college's Health Sciences unit, ensuring efficient, consistent, and effective support across all Health Sciences programs. Working collaboratively with the Dean, Program Directors, faculty, and college departments, this position coordinates activities that promote efficient program operations, regulatory and accreditation compliance, student recruitment and retention, clinical education support, and workforce development. The coordinator serves as a central resource for students, faculty, clinical affiliates, and community partners while assisting with the implementation of processes that support high-quality educational experiences across multiple Health Sciences programs. Job Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the Health Sciences unit to ensure efficient support for all Health Sciences programs. Develop, maintain, and improve operational processes, forms, and tracking systems that promote consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across Health Sciences programs. Manage unit-wide calendars, deadlines, meetings, and recurring operational activities to ensure timely completion of programmatic, accreditation, and institutional requirements. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate student recruitment initiatives by participating in college recruitment events, community outreach activities, information sessions, campus tours, application processing, and new student onboarding for all Health Sciences programs. Support student success initiatives by providing guidance throughout the student lifecycle, assisting students in navigating college processes, connecting them with institutional resources, and collaborating with faculty to support student retention and completion. Maintain program, student, and clinical records in accordance with institutional policies, FERPA, and applicable regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. Serve as a liaison between the Dean, Program Directors, faculty, students, college departments, clinical affiliates, and community partners to facilitate effective communication and timely resolution of operational needs. Assist with accreditation, program review, institutional effectiveness, assessment, and regulatory reporting by coordinating documentation, maintaining records, and supporting compliance activities. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support instructional activities, laboratory operations, and classroom readiness. Maintain program inventories and coordinate the organization, tracking, and availability of instructional, laboratory, and clinical resources to support program operations. Communicate effectively with internal departments, clinical affiliates, and community partners to support program needs. Plan, coordinate, and support advisory committee meetings, student orientations, workforce development initiatives, and community engagement activities that strengthen Health Sciences programs and external partnerships. Assist with preparation of reports, program reviews, and documentation required for institutional effectiveness, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and state or licensing agencies. Provide administrative support to the Dean and Program Directors while exercising sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited institution. Two (2) years of experience in an educational, healthcare, or administrative support role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Experience in a higher education or workforce training environment. Knowledge of accreditation or licensure requirements relevant to Health Science programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.

Environment:
Standard office and classroom environment with occasional travel to partner sites. May require occasional evening or weekend hours to support college events or program needs.
