$19-$23/hour, based on experience About the Role Model Wellness is a concierge functional medicine practice in Farmers Branch, TX, and we're looking for an organized, personable Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. You'll manage scheduling, check-in/check-out, insurance verification, and payment processing, working in eClinicalWorks (ECW) and Rectangle. Our office also shares front desk coverage with 180 Wellness, an independently owned chiropractic practice in the same building, so you'll get experience coordinating across two distinct patient populations and systems. This is a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, enjoys problem-solving on the fly, and takes pride in making every patient's first and last impression a good one. What You'll Do Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out for both Model Wellness and 180 Wellness Schedule and confirm appointments in ECW (Model Wellness) and Jane (180 Wellness) Verify insurance eligibility and collect updated demographic/insurance information Process payments and reconcile transactions between Rectangle and ECW Answer phones, manage faxes, and route messages to the right team member Review new patient intake submissions and enter information accurately into the patient chart Support daily opening and closing procedures, including a master task checklist Maintain a calm, welcoming front office environment even during busy periods What We're Looking For Prior experience in a medical office, dental office, or similar patient-facing administrative role preferred Comfortable learning new software systems (ECW and/or Jane experience a plus, not required) Strong attention to detail — especially with scheduling, insurance, and payment accuracy Clear, friendly communicator, in person and on the phone Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and a team player Why Model Wellness Full training provided using our in-house onboarding materials Supportive, small-team environment Opportunity to grow within a concierge medicine practice To apply: Submit your resume and a brief note about your relevant experience through Indeed.
