Adheres to and assures compliance with Code of Conduct, facility policies and procedures and all applicable rules, regulations and standards as promulgated by Federal, State, and accrediting agencies or regulating bodies . This includes, but is not limited to, Department of Health, Centers of Medicare and Medicaid [Text Wrapping Break] Services, and other applicable regulatory agencies. With clinician input, assigns patient caseload and other responsibilities to staff Orients, trains, supports and counsels therapy department to improve job performance and to maintain high standards of care using evidence based practice. Establishes monthly department goals and objectives in conjunction with the facility's objectives Supervises rehab staff and ensures effective rehab staff orientation, training and ongoing competency including licensure and certification verification.
