Job Description

Happy Harbor Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Front Office Patient Coordinator to join our growing team! As the first smile our patients see and the last one they remember, you'll play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming experience for every child and parent who walks through our doors.
What You'll Do:
Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Submit and follow up on insurance claims Process and track insurance pre-authorizations Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care Check patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service Answer phones and assist families with questions regarding treatment and insurance Collect payments and explain financial arrangements Work closely with our clinical team to ensure a smooth patient experienceWe're Looking For Someone Who Has:
Has 2+ years' experience with dental insurance verification, claims, and pre-authorizations (PPO insurance plans & Medicaid) Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and team-first mindset Experience with Open Dental is a plus Dependable and reliable Willing to go above and beyond Understands dental terminology and basic understanding of billing and coding Managing patient scheduling to achieve a successful and productive day Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person with a great attitude!Why You'll Love Working Here:
