Our growing oral surgery practice is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Office Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our office. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to meet you! As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while keeping the daily schedule running smoothly. Responsibilities Be the first to arrive in the morning to open the office for surgeries. Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments Schedule consultations, surgical procedures, and follow-up visits Coordinate IV sedation and nitrous sedation appointments, ensuring all necessary pre-operative instructions and paperwork are completed Communicate with referring dental offices regarding referrals, treatment plans, scheduling, and patient follow-up Verify insurance benefits and collect patient information Confirm appointments and manage the daily schedule Collect patient payments and discuss financial arrangements Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate communication between patients and the clinical team Assist with treatment scheduling and follow-up appointments Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming Provide exceptional customer service to every patient Qualifications Previous dental front office experience preferred (oral surgery experience is a plus) Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using computers and dental practice management software Positive attitude with a professional appearance Dependable, punctual, and a team player Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and advancement We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in creating an outstanding patient experience.
