About the

Role:

We're looking for a dependable, caring, and highly trainable individual to join our team in a unique hybrid Patient Care Coordinator / VNG Technician position. This role combines traditional front-desk and patient care responsibilities with specialized training to perform VNG (Videonystagmography) testing, which is used to evaluate patients experiencing dizziness and balance concerns. No previous VNG experience is required. We are looking for someone eager to learn and comfortable working directly with patients. Full training will be provided, with approximately 3-4 months of training before performing VNG testing independently.

Responsibilities :

• Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments
• Provide a friendly and welcoming experience for patients
• Handle front-desk and Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
• Learn to perform VNG testing for patients with dizziness and balance concerns
• Guide patients through approximately two-hour VNG testing appointments
• Monitor patients and their eye movements throughout testing
• Follow testing procedures carefully and accurately
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
• Help patients who may be apprehensive, uncomfortable, or have difficulty completing portions of the test
• Assist with general clinic operations as needed

Qualifications :

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working directly with patients
• Patient, compassionate, and professional demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
• Willingness and ability to learn a specialized clinical skill
• Dependable and able to work independently once fully trained
• Comfortable using computers and learning new technology
• Previous medical office or patient care experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be willing to travel to Baytown, TX for initial VNG training
• Must have reliable transportation
