Full Job Description Job Title:
Dietary Manager Join a healthcare team committed to creating a positive experience for staff and patients.
Requirements:
Based on state requirements, successful completion or current enrollment in the Certified Dietary Manager program approved by the Dietary Managers Association. One year of experience supervising a food service department in a healthcare setting, preferably a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the facility's Food and Nutrition Services Department. Provides nourishing, palatable and well-balanced meals to meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of each Resident. Completes and updates the nutrition screening and assessment and diet history as part of the comprehensive assessment process. Refers residents at nutritional risk to Dietitian for evaluation. Interviews residents, family members, legal representatives and significant others to obtain and update information needed to develop individualized plans of care, promote residents' rights and accommodate individual needs and preferences.
