www.gatewayacademy.net The candidate will need to develop strong individualized treatment plan(s) that are rooted in a relationship-based model. Provide and direct comprehensive therapeutic services that include the student, the family and the treatment team. Create treatment goals that produce positive therapeutic gains throughout the treatment process. Participate with the clinical team in all aspects of clinical staffing, clinical development and clinical team goals. Clinicians are to provide a positive enthusiastic tone for the overall treatment team. Duties will include, but will not be limited to: 1) Direct clinical services including weekly individual, family, and group therapy. 2) Maintain contact with Referral Sources regarding the progress of their students and families. 3) Maintain current clinical documentation. 4) Effective communication with all staff including complimenting and confronting when necessary. 5) Coordination with co-therapists, academic and staff teams. 6) Maintains current and up-to-date training log. 7) Participate in staff meeting and training.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
1) Master degree, prefer 3 years related Residential Treatment Center experience. 2) Pass a Background Check 3) Valid Driver's License 4) Excellent verbal and written communication skills 5) Self-starter, creative, committed to ethical business practices
MINIMUM QUALIFIERS
Must be able to pass a yearly criminal background check, be eligible to drive company vehicles and maintain all required trainings. Completion of Masters level degree in Mental Health related field, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: Must be able to walk up and down stairs and travel between Gateway Academy locations. Must be able to engage in physical activities with Staff and Students, including outdoor recreation. Must be able to lift or move up to 30 pounds on occasion. Must have near, distance, and peripheral vision.
