Job Description

Job Summary Layton Ridge Oral Surgery is seeking an experienced and driven Office Manager to partner with Dr. Andrew Cook in leading our growing oral surgery practice. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting team development, maintaining an exceptional patient experience, and ensuring the financial health of the practice through strong insurance, billing, and collections management. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who values accountability, can effectively manage a team, and has a strong background in dental or medical office management. Responsibilities Lead and support all front and back office team members to ensure a productive, positive workplace culture Partner with Dr. Cook to support the growth and success of the practice Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and daily office operations Manage insurance verification, billing, claims processing, collections, and revenue cycle performance Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvement Ensure compliance with HIPAA and practice policies Address patient concerns and help maintain a high standard of customer service Implement systems and processes that improve efficiency and support continued growth Qualifications 2+ years of medical or dental office management experience required Oral surgery management experience strongly preferred Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for managing office staff and operations Strong knowledge of insurance billing, claims management, and collections Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead teams, hold employees accountable, and drive performance Benefits Competitive compensation Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Up to $750/month employer contribution toward insurance premiums 401(k) with company match Opportunity to grow with a thriving and expanding oral surgery practice Join a team committed to outstanding patient care, operational excellence, and continued growth. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
