The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor accepts accountability for the provision of care in accordance with UVA Health's policies and procedures and competency to promote patient health and wellness. The Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor in partnership with the Clinic Administrator, ensures implementation and success of organizational goals; organizes and coordinates the clinical environment, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Supervises 20 or more clinical FTEs and may include RN, LPNs, medical assistants and other unlicensed personnel. Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor serves as a clinical leader of the healthcare team. In addition to the supervisory responsibilities, the Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor will provide patient care support in accordance with nursing scope of practice.
This position requires providing services to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.
