Job Description

Our coordinators are integral members of our practice— the people responsible for listening to and exceeding our patients' expectations. Customer The Treatment Coordinators are responsible for maintaining the doctors' schedules in a balanced, customer service-oriented way. They manage the schedule to meet the providers' and the practice's production, efficiency, and collection goals. They foster relationships with patients and sets the tone that patient care comes first. They promote the practice through a trustworthy, sensitive, and considerate approach to patient needs. A fundamental responsibility of all employees is to genuinely care about our patients, our employees and teams, and our community. Dental office experience is a must for this role. The ideal candidate would be someone who has previous dental office experience, is a quick learner, can multi task and is interested in working 36-40 hours per week with weekend or evening availability. Comprehensive, full benefit package offered. We are open from 8-2pm on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will rotate saturdays with their team- well planned in advance .We offer additional compensation per hour on this day for all of our team members. Initial compensation will be based on years of applicable experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary:
Greets patients with positive energy, true empathy and genuine care while ALWAYS displaying the PATIENT comes first attitude Displays effective verbal and written communication with patients. Gathers information from patients that contributes to a positive patient experience. Facilitate meetings with the providers to review schedule, roadblocks and set goals. Collecting estimated out of pocket payments. Communicate with the clinical team ensuring a seamless delivery from clinical areas. Verify accuracy of patient records and appointment details. Accurately prepares financial arrangements to determine estimated insurance payment vs. patient's out of pocket. Ensure completion of all required signatures and appropriate consent forms. Accurately documents check-out and appointment notes. Communicate with outside facilities as directed by providers: e.g, pharmacies, referrals, etc. Utilize treatment tracker to document financial arrangements reviewed. Manage and respond to unscheduled appointments. Ensure all computer records are compliant to office standards.
