Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to serve as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient service. In this role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless administrative support within a healthcare setting. Your efforts will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining efficient office operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using specialized patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical histories, and personal data, while maintaining strict confidentiality. Communicate effectively with patients via phone and in person to address inquiries, provide appointment reminders, and relay important health information. Support medical staff by preparing necessary documentation, updating patient records, and managing administrative tasks related to patient care. Assist with health insurance processing by verifying coverage details and explaining billing procedures to patients. Maintain compliance with health regulation policies and ensure that office procedures adhere to legal standards and privacy laws.
