We are seeking an organized, customer-focused Therapy Services Coordinator to serve as the administrative hub of our Therapy Department. In this role, you will help ensure patients receive timely access to physical, occupational, and speech therapy services by coordinating scheduling, registration, referrals, and departmental operations. Position Summary The Therapy Services Coordinator serves as the primary administrative support for the Therapy Department, ensuring patients receive timely, efficient, and high-quality access to therapy services through admissions, scheduling, registration, and coordination of care. This position works closely with therapists, providers, nursing staff, patients, and families to support both outpatient and inpatient therapy services while maintaining accurate records, coordinating referrals and authorizations, and supporting regulatory compliance. What You'll Do Coordinate registration, scheduling, and admissions for outpatient and inpatient therapy services. Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to maximize therapist schedules and patient access. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation meets payer, regulatory, and organizational requirements. Coordinate referrals, insurance authorizations, and Plans of Care with providers and clinical staff. Support therapists by preparing schedules, organizing documentation, and coordinating inpatient therapy services. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, providers, and staff by answering questions and providing exceptional customer service. Perform daily front office operations, including reception, telephone support, report preparation, and departmental record management. Collect patient payments and reconcile daily cash and credit card transactions. Maintain documentation related to therapy equipment inspections, maintenance, temperature logs, and other regulatory requirements. Assist with special projects and other departmental responsibilities as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in a business-related field with an emphasis on customer service. Prior experience within a hospital or clinic setting with exposure to medical terminology and insurance preferred. Familiarity with regulations that protect patient information.
