Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointment schedules, ensuring great customer service and efficient operations within our pediatric dental office. This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of dental terminology and office procedures. Proficiency in scheduling software and familiarity with Open Dental is an added bonus. Duties
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling for both patients and providers.
- Utilize Open Dental software to maintain accurate patient records and appointment details.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans, appointment confirmations, and any necessary follow-ups.
- Collaborate with clinical team and other offices to streamline office operations and improve patient flow.
- Greeting families and addressing inquiries in a professional and upbeat manner.
- Maintain organized records of appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling requests.
- Assist in the development of care plans by coordinating necessary services and resources for patients. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, particularly in roles related to scheduling and terminology
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. rganizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- High attention to detail, a self-starter, possess a positive energy personality, a quick learner, able to work in a team environment, reliable, and punctual.
