Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointment schedules, ensuring efficient patient flow, and providing exceptional administrative support within a dental office environment. This position requires strong communication skills and a great attitude! Responsibilities Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling for providers and patients. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar software. Verify insurance information and handle dental billing processes in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Create and present Treatment Plans Provide excellent patient service through effective communication and phone etiquette while managing multi-line phone systems. Assist with intake processes as well as processing referral documentation as needed both to and from Specialists. Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Skills Proficiency with Dentrix or understanding Dental Software. Understanding of dental terminology, coding, and billing practices. Experience in dental administrative support or front desk operations. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Familiarity with health information management practices is preferred.
