Job Description
Job Summary The Clinic Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and clinical coordination of one or more outpatient practices. This role partners with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, optimal staff performance, and efficient business operations. The Clinic Manager fosters a culture of excellence, equity, and collaboration, aligning with the health system's mission and values. Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead daily operations across administrative and clinical teams, including front desk, medical records, nursing, and ancillary services. Supervise and develop clinical and non-clinical staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and training. Implement and maintain practice standards, workflows, and protocols to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient care delivery. Coordinate provider schedules and staffing levels to meet patient needs and financial goals. Prepare the clinic for provider transitions and support practice growth through strategic planning and marketing efforts. Clinical Oversight Collaborate with providers and care teams to optimize patient care delivery and resource utilization. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and accreditation standards. Support clinical triage, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives. Financial & Strategic Management Monitor and manage clinic budgets, financial performance, and revenue cycle activities. Analyze operational metrics and develop action plans to improve outcomes. Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including productivity, compensation, and scheduling. Conduct audits and ensure compliance with billing, documentation, and financial policies. Patient Experience & Engagement Act as a patient advocate and lead service recovery efforts. Monitor patient satisfaction data (e.g., CGCAHPS) and implement improvement strategies. Communicate regularly with staff and providers about goals, feedback, and performance metrics. Foster a wellness culture and inclusive environment for patients and staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Medium Work:
Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs. Supervisor or leadership roles preferred. Experience in ambulatory care, physician practice management, or multi-site operations preferred. Specialty certifications may be required based on clinic specialty. Education High School Diploma or GED (Required) Bachelor's degree preferred Associate degree with additional supervisory experience may be considered
