Monday-Friday; occasional availability outside regular hours may be required Position Summary We are seeking an experienced
CDS / IHS
Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Consumer Directed Services (CDS) and In-Home Services (IHS) programs in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Missouri Medicaid/MO HealthNet, HCBS, CDS and/or IHS programs , participant care plans, service authorizations, caregiver management, documentation, EVV, and regulatory compliance. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that services are delivered appropriately, documentation is accurate and complete, participants' needs are addressed, and program operations remain compliant with applicable Missouri requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the CDS and IHS programs. Coordinate participant services according to authorized care plans and service hours. Supervise and support CDS/IHS coordinators, caregivers, and administrative staff. Monitor participant schedules, staffing, service delivery, and authorized hours. Review timesheets, EVV records, service documentation, and other required records. Monitor service plans and identify changes in participant needs. Coordinate with participants, guardians, caregivers, case managers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Assist with participant intake, assessments, reassessments, and service coordination. Ensure required documentation is maintained accurately and timely. Monitor compliance with Missouri Medicaid/MO HealthNet and HCBS requirements. Assist with audits, quality assurance reviews, corrective actions, and regulatory requests. Investigate and resolve participant, caregiver, and staffing concerns. Track service utilization and identify discrepancies or potential compliance issues. Provide training and ongoing support to staff. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Prepare operational reports and maintain organized participant and program records. Perform other duties necessary to ensure effective CDS/IHS program operations. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in CDS, IHS, HCBS, home care, Medicaid, or a related healthcare services environment. Working knowledge of Missouri Medicaid/MO HealthNet programs . Knowledge of Consumer Directed Services (CDS) and/or In-Home Services (IHS) . Experience with participant service plans, authorizations, documentation, and EVV. Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of healthcare documentation and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple participants, caregivers, and operational priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Certification / Education
Candidates must have a relevant healthcare, social-services, case-management, or human-services certification or credential , when applicable to their professional role.
Preferred credentials may include:
RN or LPN license Licensed Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) Certified Case Manager (CCM) Certified Care Manager (CCM) Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) or related credential Other relevant healthcare, HCBS, case-management, or human-services certification A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Nursing, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Preferred Missouri Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have direct experience with: Missouri MO HealthNet Missouri HCBS Consumer Directed Services (CDS) In-Home Services (IHS) Service plans and care plans EVV systems Medicaid authorizations Participant assessments/reassessments Quality assurance and compliance Missouri Medicaid audits and documentation requirements
