The Part-Time Wellness Coordinator supports the development, coordination, and delivery of comprehensive wellness initiatives for university faculty and staff. This role focuses on program development, program operations, and the facilitation of health and wellness education, including virtual and in-person webinars. The Coordinator collaborates with campus partners to promote a culture of well-being and engagement across the university community. Program Development & Campus Collaboration:
Assist in the design and implementation of wellness programs tailored to university faculty and staff. Partner with campus departments (e.g., Recreation, Benefits, Counseling, Dining, Academic Units) to develop integrated wellness initiatives. Identify emerging health trends and campus needs to inform program offerings. Support wellness campaigns and seasonal initiatives aligned with the academic calendar.Program Operations and Administration:
Coordinate logistics for wellness programs, workshops, and events, including registration, scheduling, and communications. Maintain program calendars and ensure alignment with university events and priorities. Track participation, evaluate program effectiveness, and prepare summary reports Manage communication platforms for program promotion. Manage communication platforms for program promotion. Support vendor relationships and scheduling of external wellness providers.Health and Wellness Education:
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate virtual and in-person wellness webinars for faculty and staff. Develop educational presentations and resources on topics such as stress management, nutrition, physical activity, and work-life balance. Collaborate with campus experts or external speakers to deliver evidence-based programming. E ngagement andOutreach:
Promote wellness initiatives through university communication channels. Create engaging, inclusive outreach strategies to increase participation. Provide responsive support to program participants and campus partners. Assist with special events such as wellness fairs and campus-wide challenges.Other:
Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, Higher Education Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience in related field may be considered in lieu of degree.Work Experience:
Experience working with diverse wellness and fitness levels, preferably in higher education. Experience facilitating webinars, workshops, etc.Work Skills:
Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to collaborate in a diverse campus environment.Specific Job Knowledge:
Proficiency with virtual platforms and Microsoft Office.Equipment Knowledge:
Knowledge of operating fitness equipment.Other:
Part-time, flexible schedule. Availability to work mornings/afternoons/evenings required. Due to the nature of the role and its responsibility for supporting the campus community, this position is fully onsite.Preferred Qualifications:
Formal Education:
Bachelor's degree.Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in employee wellness or university programming. Experience in a higher education setting.Work Skills:
Ability to engage a diverse employee population.Specific Job Knowledge:

This position falls within hourly grade 12 and the range is $22.36-30.00/hr. The final salary will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's qualifications, department budget availability, market data, and internal equity.Salary Grade:
