• $125,000 Position Summary The Medical Equipment Planner is responsible for generating and maintaining the medical equipment lists for healthcare construction projects at facilities across the United States.

The build-outs may be operating rooms, clinic spaces, inpatient units, dental laboratories, central sterilization facilities, labs, radiology suites, and varying other areas. This position will utilize 4-Tower and/or Attainia on a daily basis to enter information, research, generate reports, and budget medical equipment. Thus, it is mandatory that all candidates are comfortable using and working in 4-Tower and Attainia. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making recommendations to reduce equipment costs, perform medical equipment inventories & assessments, discuss workflows with department staff, creating detailed notes and historical data, coordinate placement of equipment in CAD and Revit drawings, and recommend accessories & possible replacements for existing equipment standards. The Medical Equipment Planner will work closely with VOC's Implementation Team, Revit Manager, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Construction Teams. The successful candidate for this position is someone who can work independently and is proactive in their thinking. The ideal candidate has healthcare and/or construction experience that can be applied to real-world projects with tight budgets and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor. Proficiency in 4-Tower and Attainia is required. Proficiency in Revit/BIM is preferred. About VOC Associates Our mission is to save healthcare clients time, pain, and money. This company is incorporated in Ohio but has staff across the country. Objectives Development of medical equipment budget with input from Owner. Guide clients through the build of their equipment lists with input from Clinical Engineering, IT, vendors, and other support services. Meet with multiple departments to review their workflows and equipment needs. These meetings may be onsite or via web meeting. Must be able to effectively lead a meeting in both settings. Physical assessment of existing equipment with photo documentation, measurements, and determination of ability to reuse equipment. Creation and maintenance of multiple Attainia projects. Collaboration with Revit & CAD team for placement of equipment in construction drawings. This includes working with multiple vendors to integrate their drawings into the equipment drawing set. Clear communication with team members. Coordinate and update information with Design and/or Construction Teams. Proactive

Competencies Demonstration of ability to use and excel in Google Suite of products Ability to read construction drawings. Ability to maintain project equipment budget and effectively communicate when changes to the budget occur. Confidently suggest value-engineering solutions when the need arises. Ability to maintain client confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Attainia, and Smartsheet. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via email, telephone, and in-person with clients and team members. Ability to prioritize conflicting needs

Must be able to present seamless handoff of medical equipment drawings and reports to client and VOC Implementation Team. Must meet deadlines when submitting RFP Responses.
