Care Advocate Location:
Dallas, TX Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Full-Time | 100%
Onsite Pay:
$20-24 + monthly bonus opportunity About the Role We are seeking a Care Advocate to provide personalized support to members as they navigate their healthcare journey. This role serves as a primary point of contact for members, helping them understand their care options, answering questions, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring they feel supported throughout the process. The ideal candidate is empathetic, energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused , with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Provide phone-based support to members in a fast-paced healthcare service center Provide a high-touch, personalized experience to members Educate members on the healthcare and surgical process, available incentives, and program benefits Help members identify and select appropriate healthcare providers Coordinate with physician offices to help facilitate care Answer member questions clearly and professionally Proactively engage with new members and maintain relationships with existing members Help members navigate complex healthcare processes from beginning to end Provide consistent follow-up and support throughout the member's care journey Collaborate with internal teams and healthcare providers to ensure a positive member experience Meet established customer service and performance expectations Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call center, service center, sales support, or a similar role Associate degree highly preferred; exceptions may be considered for candidates with strong service center experience Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social services, public health, or a related field preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Empathetic and comfortable working with individuals navigating healthcare needs Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Ability to work effectively in a team environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Schedule Monday-Friday No regular weekend shifts 9-hour shifts, including a 1-hour lunch, scheduled between 7:00 AM-8:00 PM Occasional 1:00 PM-10:00 PM shift approximately 1-2 times per month The occasional 1:00 PM-10:00 PM shift is remote and will be scheduled in advance Shift swaps may be accommodated when needed Compensation Starting at $20/hour Competitive monthly bonus program Top-performing Care Advocates can earn up to an additional $1,200/month through the bonus program Sign-on Bonus for the month of October Benefits Parking reimbursement Paid onsite training Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Paid parental leave Free onsite gym membership
