MHealth Fairview/ Lions Children's Hearing & ENT is seeking a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) Student for a full time (12 month), pediatric focused externship. Our goal is to prepare you to feel confident and competent to begin a career in pediatric audiology. Lions Children's Hearing & ENT Clinic has 6 full time audiologists and provides a full range of audiology services for birth to age 21 including: diagnostic hearing evaluations, electrophysiology, hearing aids, bone conduction devices, and cochlear implants. Additionally, we work closely with the 9 audiologists at the Clinics and Surgery Center that provides a full range of audiology services for adults including: diagnostic hearing evaluations, vestibular assessment, electrophysiology, cochlear implants, hearing aids, and osseo-integrated devices. We are excited to have the unique opportunity to include a short rotation of this externship in the adult out patient clinic. We believe this gives the extern a well rounded experience that will prepare them for any job after graduation. Interested individuals should be flexible, high motivated, self directed and possess a strong interest in working with children.
