This position is responsible for safely operating HEAR Wisconsin's Mobile Audiology Clinic (MAC), performing OSHA hearing conservation screenings, supporting the day-to-day operation of the MAC, and providing exceptional customer service at businesses and organizations throughout Wisconsin. This is a benefits-eligible position averaging a minimum of 32 hours per week. Workdays and hours will vary based on scheduled Mobile Audiology Clinic services and will include early mornings, late nights and extended travel days. Ability to work flexible weekly schedule is required. Frequent travel throughout Wisconsin is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safely drive and operate the Mobile Audiology Clinic (MAC) at community and industrial sites throughout Wisconsin. A CDL is not required. Complete required daily vehicle inspections, regular cleaning and upkeep and identify preventative maintenance and repairs as needed. Set up, operate, and break down the MAC at scheduled locations. Perform hearing screenings as part of OSHA hearing conservation programs in accordance with applicable OSHA and Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation ( CAOHC) requirements. Must pass the training provided by HEAR Wisconsin within the first two months of employment. Maintain accurate screening records and documentation. Respond to routine customer questions on site regarding the hearing screening process and results within the scope of the position and assist with coordinating appropriate follow-up services. Support the completion of hearing screeings at community events throughout the year. Support audiology services at senior living communities. Represent HEAR Wisconsin in a professional, courteous, and positive manner. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Mobile Audiology Clinic. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Some college courses preferred. 1 to 3 years of public service or healthcare experience preferred. Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and ability to meet HEAR Wisconsin insurance requirements.

• Ability to safely operate a large vehicle or willingness and ability to successfully complete required training. Previous experience operating large vehicles is preferred but not required.

• CAOHC certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within 8 weeks of hire (employer-paid training). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, dependable, and detail oriented. Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities while traveling to customer locations. Participate as a member of a cohesive team. Able to troubleshoot and problem solve when issues occur on work sites. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Desire to make a difference in the lives of children, adults, and seniors who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
