Job Description

Description Join our dynamic team as a Mohs Technician, where you'll play a crucial role under the guidance of the Dermatology Director and Mohs Surgeon. Your expertise will extend to the use of special stains and immunohistochemistry, ensuring a thorough understanding of skin cancer cell identification, especially in melanoma cases. You will maintain a safe lab environment according to OSHA standards, using meticulous preparation, labeling, and storage of slides. Be prepared to contribute to a collaborative team, work independently, and adhere to hospital and university policies while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your dedication will be pivotal in shaping a cutting-edge approach to dermatological care. You will interact with faculty, residents and clinical staff to solve any problems regarding worklists and other orders. Time and type of assignments may vary upon department guidelines. You will be required to work at multiple sites, be able to trouble shoot when necessary and contribute to the goals of a team environment. Travel to other locations as needed
Salary Range:
$58.82 - $70.32/hrly
