As a Histology Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing thin slices of human, animal, or plant tissue on slides for analysis. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality of sample preservation and analysis. Examine, fix, and process tissue for proper sample preservation Embed tissue with paraffin wax Cut tissue samples using a microtome or cryostat Mount tissue samples on slides Stain or dye samples to highlight abnormalities Recognize and address factors affecting procedures and quality results Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment and instruments Manage supplies and laboratory quality-control procedures

Requirements:
