Histotech (Part-to Full Time)

Location:

Hendersonville Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and process tissue specimens, including fixation, embedding, microtomy, and staining Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of all specimens Maintain quality control standards and adhere to laboratory protocols Operate and maintain histology equipment, including microtomes and stainers Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment

Qualifications:

Prior histology experience required (dermatology experience preferred) HT/HTL certification (ASCP) preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting Knowledge of laboratory safety and compliance standards

Schedule:

Tuesdays only; expanding to up-to full time

Pay:

$30.00 per hour
