About the Role We're looking for a dedicated Histotechnologist to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our clinical team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As the Histotech, you will prepare histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by Pathologist under the supervision of the Pathology Supervisor. You will prepare cytology specimens using thinprep and cell block preparations. You will operate computerized pathology equipment to prepare tissues and microscopic slides.What You'll Do Technical :
Determines acceptability of specimens, maintains positive identification, and resolves and documents any discrepancies. Prepares histologic slides from tissue specimens for microscopic examination.Perform histochemical and immunohistochemical special stains. Perform quality frozen sections.
