Histology Technician The Histology Technician plays a critical part in preparing, processing, and analyzing tissue samples that support accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in histological techniques, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining precision and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work.

Responsibilities include:

Assist the Provider in welcoming the patient and supports the Provider in providing excellent care Patient intake Cutting slides Assisting in the MOHS Lab Preparing materials for the Provider Preparing and handling medical supplies, instruments and specimens Keeping the facility and equipment clean and tidy Other duties as deemed necessary.

Preferred but not necessary:

ASCP HT (Histotechnician) HTL (Histotechnologist)

Requirements:

At least 2 yrs of Dermatology/MOHS experience At least 2 yrs of Histology Technician experience A candidate who will travel to local clinics to assist in the MOHS procedures EMR experience and fluent in a variety of software packages Organization, punctuality, professionalism and a presentable, polished appearance Eagerness to grow and learn with the company The ability to work in a fast pace team environment and being able to adjust to different Provider's styles and preferences Dedication and compassion to patients and being able to deliver exceptional customer service
