Histology Assistant Lead Inova Central Lab is looking for a dedicated Histology Assistant Lead to join their team: This role will be
Full Time Night Shift:
Monday-Friday, Hours:

Histology Assistant Lead Job Responsibilities:
Performs all clerical and computer tasks necessary to support the quality operations of the department. Communicates to maintain team knowledge and train/mentor other healthcare personnel in the gross room. Obtains and processes pathology specimens while maintaining positive specimen identification and assisting with the maintenance of Laboratory equipment to ensure the quality preparation of all specimens. Processes, prepares, and stains cytology specimens to ensure quality results and accurate diagnosis by the Cytologist/Pathologist. May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Years of Experience:
3 years of Histology experience
