Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION
: Providing services for individuals experiencing developmental delays. Day Hab services in Eagle River,Palmer and Wasilla. We are also looking for overnight person for our wasilla house. Must have experience with Autism.
TASK :
Individual Service Provider Provide Direct Care and supervision to increase independence and access Assist Clients with all services as described on their
Plan of Care:
budgeting, community access, health and fitness, behavior and social skills, communication skills,ADL's Assist Clients with maintaining schedules and routines Maintain Safety of clients Daily documentation Collaborate with other/ all Direct Care Providers Process with Client and other Direct Care Providers regarding behavioral concerns, conflicts, and report all instances to AKNL. Stay in compliance with all State of Alaska Regulations and AKNL Provide Medication Management (Med Administration, MAR, refills, pickup, ordering, etc.) Assist Clients with shopping for necessities as needed (food, dietary needs, cleaning supplies, etc) Main Meal and Light Meal Preparation Other duties as assigned by

•House cleaning duties,laundry,bathrooms,changing bedding,keeping up on COVID protocols for cleaning,assisting clients with Hygiene for health and safety,dishes,kitchen,floors,folding and putting away clothes,dusting, vacuuming,organizing,
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
State of Alaska Regulations and AK Nurtured Living requirements
OSHA, NCI, CPR
& FA,on going PD as required Mediation techniques Problem solving Proper Documentation Critical Incident Reporting Leadership & Communication Skills Professional Boundaries
REQUIREMENTS
: Complete State of Alaska Background Check Must be at least eighteen years of age Maintain Alaska Driver's License/Insurance and safe car Minimum High School Diploma Maintain required trainings
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Residential and Community settings Flexible schedule, night and weekend availability Lunch and breaks away from clients are allowed as are safe and for 20 mins or less for 7-8 hour shift. If longer break is needed "signing out" is required. see Kelly/Joe for exceptions as needed 8 hours of sleep is required and is off the clock for over night staff. If clients are in need of staff in the night and 5 or less hours of sleep was had 8 hours will be paid.
