MacGregor Care Services of Wasilla is looking to expand our team! Previous experience as an in-home caregiver, direct support professional (DSP), or healthcare worker preferred; however , we are absolutely willing to provide training to the right person. This position provides direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It will involve teaching clients self-care skills, assisting clients with daily tasks, cooking meals, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean & safe environment for the clients. The following will be required for all candidates: At least 18 years of age Current CPR & First Aid Training Current proof of a negative TB test (initial TB tests are good for 1 year) Pass a background check Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including: bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time Be a team player This position allows for some overtime, flexibility of schedules, and a competitve pay base that starts at $19-22 hr.
