No previous DSP experience? No problem. We provide paid training to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in your role.

WHAT DOES A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL DO?

As a DSP, you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while helping them achieve greater independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting with daily living activities and personal care Promoting independence and life skills Supporting individuals with community outings and engagement Following individualized service plans and behavior support plans Maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment Building meaningful and professional relationships with individuals served Providing consistent and compassionate support Completing required documentation accurately and timely Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members Supporting the individual's goals, choices, and independence

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for individuals who are: At least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required Compassionate, patient, and dependable Reliable with excellent attendance Professional and respectful Team-oriented with a positive attitude Willing to learn and accept feedback Committed to providing quality care and support Motivated to grow and advance within the organization Previous caregiving, healthcare, behavioral health, or direct support experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.
