Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote independence and dignity Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately and promptly Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Facilitate patient transfer methods using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments is highly valued Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medication safely Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings is preferred Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices enhances your ability to support diverse needs Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in HIPAA compliance and manual handling techniques is advantageous Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using appropriate equipment Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
