Caregiver Starting Pay:

Position Overview We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and energetic Personal Care Assistants (PRN/As Needed) Caregivers to join our team across our service areas and surrounding communities. This is a flexible PRN position for caregivers who are available to accept open shifts, provide coverage for call-outs, and assist with evening, weekend, and short-notice staffing needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working with a variety of clients, and committed to providing safe, respectful, and high-quality care.

Little Rock, AR; Conway, AR; Pine Bluff, AR; Monticello, AR; El Dorado, AR; Hot Springs, AR; Crossett, AR; surrounding areas, and other communities within Le'Feather Homecare's service area.

PRN Expectations Starting pay:

$15.00 per hour No guaranteed weekly hours. Expected hours may range from 2-40 hours per week , depending on available assignments and caregiver availability. Must maintain agreed-upon availability. May be contacted for call-outs, open shifts, evenings, weekends, urgent coverage, and short-notice opportunities by phone or through CareSmartz360 messaging. Must promptly accept or decline shift requests. Must have reliable transportation to and from client homes. Must be comfortable providing care to different clients and working in different home environments. Must be able to use the CareSmartz360 EVV system for clocking in/out and required visit documentation. Must complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Must meet Le'Feather Homecare's attendance, reliability, and performance standards. No mileage reimbursement is provided. Expected Hours 2-40 hours per week. PRN hours are based on client needs, available shifts, call-outs, and caregiver availability. Hours are not guaranteed . Caregivers may have the opportunity to accept additional shifts and work up to 40 hours per week based on available assignments. Essential Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Provide personal care and supportive services according to the client's care plan. Assist clients with safe transfers and mobility using proper techniques and equipment, including Hoyer lifts when required. Prepare meals according to the client's dietary needs and preferences. Assist with light housekeeping and homemaker tasks as assigned. Assist clients with maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment. Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor. Follow established care plans, agency policies, and client-specific instructions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided. Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and the Le'Feather Homecare team. Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. Qualifications Previous caregiving, personal care, home health, assisted living, nursing home, group home, or related experience is preferred. Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility, including use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required. Ability to follow care plans and provide care according to client-specific needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the care team. Must have a smartphone capable of using the CareSmartz360 caregiver app . Must be able to learn and consistently use CareSmartz360 for EVV clock-in/out and visit documentation. Must provide a valid government-issued ID and Social Security number as required for employment and onboarding.
