Direct Support Professional St Francis Area Developmental Center - 3.3 Maumelle, AR Job Details Part-time | Full-time $14 - $15 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Developmental disability care assistance Assisting with ADLs Experience working with adults with disabilities Adults with developmental disabilities Feeding for children Working with children with disabilities Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities Meal assistance Full Job Description Job Overview Direct Support Staff who provide services to individuals under the Home and Community Based PASSE Waiver Program must be persons who exhibit a special ability and motivation to work with children and adults with developmental disabilities. They may be required to work in the homes of individuals or in a residential facility. They must possess patience, maturity of judgment, honesty, and reliability. They must be flexible and willing to adapt to various work environments. Direct Support Staff must be able to work independently. They must possess the physical ability to perform tasks related to personal care needs such as bathing, assisting in mobility and various degrees of lifting. Direct Support Staff will be under thesupervision ofthe Executive Director, Assistant Director of the agency, Community Supervisor as well their Site Supervisors if they work in a residential setting. Direct Support Staff will provide services, primarily in the home of the identified child or adult who is receiving Waiver services. Specific services will be identified in the individual's Waiver Plan and may include, but not limited to assistance with eating bathing grooming dressing toileting (bowel and bladder care) mobility socialization community integration communication shopping budgeting transportation behavior management the development of daily living and self-help skills as outlined in the individualized Waiver plan. all other duties as assigned
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
