Job Description
Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) Needed Immediately Full-Time & Part-Time | Buckeye & Phoenix (West Valley) We are immediately hiring Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in group home and home & community-based settings . We are a DDD-contracted provider committed to person-centered care, safety, and compliance. We offer both full-time and part-time positions . Candidates must be willing to float between West Valley locations as needed. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist with personal care, hygiene, feeding, and incontinence care Support mobility, ambulation, and community access Assist with or administer medications per care plans and physician orders Plan and prepare meals with consumer participation when appropriate Perform light housekeeping duties Provide companionship, supervision, and behavioral support Observe, document, and report incidents, behaviors, and changes Follow DDD service plans, ISPs, and agency policies Respond calmly and appropriately during emergencies Required Skills & Attributes Compassionate, respectful, and dependable Strong communication, documentation, and observation skills Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and DDD standards Excellent time management and attendance Professional boundaries and strong work ethic Physical ability to perform caregiving duties Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED CPR & First Aid Certification Article 9 Certification (current or willing to obtain) Prevention and Support Certification (current or willing to obtain) Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE) Training (current or willing to obtain) Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (current or willing to obtain) Previous experience as a: Caregiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) CNA or similar healthcare role Experience in: Group homes Assisted living or nursing homes Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS)
