The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including home health, assisted living, and group homes. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' conditions. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Assist clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Engage clients in social activities and promote participation in community events. Provide care to individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or autism as needed. Skills First aid and CPR certification is preferred. Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is beneficial. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in client conditions. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality. Familiarity with care plans and medication administration protocols. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
