CNA Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dementia care, medication administration, social work, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to assist with various tasks related to patient care.Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with hospice care and end-of-life support
- Support individuals with autism in daily activities
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Implement social work principles to enhance patient well-being
- Utilize first aid skills as needed
Experience:
- Experience in dementia care and working with individuals with autism
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of hospice care practices
- Familiarity with systems for managing patient records and information
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist patients with ADLs
