Administer medications safely following home healthcare regulations and medication administration protocols. Perform vital signs assessments including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to track health status. Support clients with memory care needs, Alzheimer's or dementia care, ensuring a safe environment and engaging activities tailored to their cognitive abilities. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and documentation. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship that promotes overall well-being. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment. Follow safety procedures including first aid, basic life support (BLS), CPR certification, and emergency response protocols when necessary. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts effectively.
