Modesto, CA JOB Description:

Assists Individuals with the following: help with grooming, bathing, hygiene, toileting, feeding, communicating, community integration, money management, skill building and other needs they may have. DSP's provide assistance with transportation, medications, maintaining a safe environment for the individual and documenting their progress. DSP's will also assist with behavior management and advocacy. At MJCH, our goal is to support the needs of each program participant in a safe and nurturing manner.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be able to work evenings and rotating weekends. Keep accurate documentation; Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Be authorized to work in the United States. Must have current CPR AND First Aid certification and have a current TB Test. Behavior Management training is a plus!

Criminal Background Check:

Must be able to clear an FBI background check ( Required ). A conviction (felony or misdemeanor) does not necessarily eliminate you from employment consideration. A criminal background check is conducted on all new hires. Failure to disclose ALL criminal convictions may result in disqualification from employment consideration or may result in dismissal from MJCH employment if you have been hired.
