Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support and personalized care to seniors in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life, dignity, comfort, and independence of older adults through attentive in-home caregiving, reliable patient observation, and a strong understanding of health and safety practices. This role is focused on helping seniors remain safe, supported, and comfortable in the familiar surroundings of their homes. Responsibilities
  • Assist seniors with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and other personal care needs to promote dignity, independence, and comfort at home.
  • Prepare nutritious meals for seniors based on individual preferences and dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safe food-handling practices in the home.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, changing linens, and organizing living spaces.
  • Support safe transfers and mobility within the home, including the proper use of assistive equipment when needed.
  • Observe and report changes in a senior's condition, document care activities accurately, and communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, or care team members to support continuity of care. Requirements
  • Experience providing compassionate in-home care to seniors, including assistance with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and household support.
  • Knowledge of patient observation techniques and the ability to recognize and report changes in a senior's physical, emotional, or cognitive condition.
  • Experience or training in dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care for seniors is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, reliability, and the ability to work respectfully and compassionately with older adults in a home setting.
  • Valid CPR and first aid certifications are preferred; additional senior care or dementia care training is a plus.

Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
