Job Description

Home of Champions is located in the heart of Santa Clarita Valley. Home of Champions is a four-bed, level 3 Adult residential facility for disable individuals between the ages of 18 and 59. Serving individuals with mild to severe mental and physical diagnosis's. Our Goal is to guide our residents to becoming self sufficient individuals. Our Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals (DSP) work hands on with our individuals to increase their daily living skills and behavioral skills. All employees participate in continuing education courses throughout the year and may receive raises accordingly. Various duties assigned which includes but not limited to stooping, bending, cleaning with various chemicals, able to lift heavy objects, transporting residents to medical and recreational appointments. Must cook and perform house keeping. Additional work duties will be explained during face to face interview. Seeking weekend staff 8AM-4PM, overnight staff immediately, fulltime, part-time, overnight, weekend and holidays. Experience required, must have valid identification, DSP 1, DSP 2. Must pass criminal background check, Prior to hire date must have current First aid and CPR, Current health screening with TB test with results. Reference may be requested. Reliable transportation a must. Bilingual a plus but not required. Pay rate based on experience Contact Mrs. Chambers 818-621-1953 for additional information.
