Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in their homes and community settings. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Support patients with mobility using proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes promptly to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or community activities Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing spaces Qualifications Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, dementia, or developmental disabilities is a plus Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in Alzheimer's or memory care are advantageous Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident's rights to ensure privacy and dignity of clients Ability to lift heavy objects safely using proper manual handling techniques; physical stamina for long shifts is essential Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Join us in making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
