Overview Cared & Covered Home Care Services is seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional caregivers to join our growing team. We are not a traditional home care agency — we provide concierge-level care and lifestyle support to clients who expect a higher standard of service. Our caregivers do more than assist with daily living — they help enhance quality of life, encourage independence, and create meaningful experiences for our clients . This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, emotionally intelligent, and take pride in delivering respectful, attentive, and elevated care . Care is provided in private homes, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals etc. and may include companionship, personal care, transportation to activities, and support with daily routines. In this vital role, you will provide attentive, respectful, and personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether working in a home setting, assisted living facility, or group home, your dedication will help create a warm and supportive environment for those in your care. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop meaningful relationships while delivering essential services that enhance quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and overall condition; promptly report any concerns to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following prescribed plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as required Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress, observations, and any incidents diligently Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and sanitary environment within the care setting Transport clients (required) to and from appointments, errands, social activities, etc. Qualifications Must be registered as a California Home Care Aide (HCA) HCA registration can be completed through the California Department of Social Services at: https://guardian.dss.ca.gov/applicant Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred Prior caregiving experience in: Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or dementia care are advantageous Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease, or memory care needs is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts is essential Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and families Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered careEmbark on a rewarding career where your caring nature transforms lives.
