Part-Time to Full-Time Positions Available About the Role Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting youth and families? Do you excel in bilingual communication and high-quality customer service? The Health and Wellness Centers are seeking dedicated Patient Care Assistant - Translator(s) to join our team. This multi-faceted role is the heart of our clinic. You will serve as the primary bridge between our providers and the families we serve. Your work will be part of a highly collaborative team including Nurse Practitioners and Mental Health Specialists working to ensure every student-patient feels seen, heard, and well-cared for within a unique School-Based Healthcare setting. As part of Every Child Pediatrics , a Colorado-based non-profit, we provide comprehensive medical and mental health services to over 24,000 young people annually. Our two clinics are located directly within Poudre School District, exclusively serving Poudre School District students who enroll for our care. At the Health & Wellness Centers, we create healthy learners who are better prepared for academic and lifelong success! Key Responsibilities In this role, you will wear many hats to support the health and wellness of our students, including, but not limited to:
Linguistic Advocacy:
Provide vital English/Spanish translation and interpretation for patients and their families.
Front-End Management:
Greet patients, manage phone lines, schedule patients into appropriate appointment slots according to clinic policy and procedures.
Registration & Data Integrity:
Perform demographic and insurance validation and record accurate entry of demographics and insurance into Electronic Health Record; ensure all legal and medical consents are complete and signed.
Financial Services:
Conduct insurance validation, explain billing practices to families, and process daily financial reconciliations.
Clinical Support:
Assist Medical Provider with running in-house rapid lab tests, preparing samples for outside lab testing, and following up with patients on results. Present patients for telehealth services and administer validated health needs assessments.
Immunization Coordination:
Perform administrative duties related to immunizations including count reconciliation, serving as a primary or secondary coordinator, taking and logging daily/weekly temperatures.
Patient Advocacy:
Perform outreach efforts and assist families with insurance applications (Medicaid/CHP+ etc).
Facility Oversight:
Maintain a clean, organized environment and manage supply procurement. All other things that support the provision of excellent health and wellness services for the our patients! Why Join Us?

Core Qualifications Bilingual Proficiency:
Fluency in both English and Spanish and/or English and Arabic.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Communication Excellence:
Superior customer service skills and the ability to interact warmly with youth.
Financial Literacy:
Competency in basic arithmetic for accurate payment collection, figure reconciliation, and processing patient balances.
Systems Proficiency:
Advanced skill in Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook) and experience with or aptitude for navigating and working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to manage multiple administrative and clinical tasks with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data integrity. Efficiency under
Pressure:
A proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining strict attention to detail and confidentiality.
Service Excellence:
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and professional communication.
Certifications:
Possession of—or a proactive willingness to obtain— BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers.
Professional Background:
Experience in Primary Care, Pediatrics, or Family Practice is highly preferred. Well-versed in medical terminology and standard health insurance practices. Current hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some early evening (one time per week) and Saturdays on occasion. Bilingual (English/Spanish and/or English/Arabic. Candidates need to have at least 16 hours of availability in blocks of no less than 4-5 hours at a time during clinic days/hours. Certified Nurse Assistants or those with Front Office experience in medical settings are strongly encouraged to apply. Pay is $15-$18 an hour based on experience. Specific training will be provided.
